About The Artist
Steffen Gierok, freelance photographer and founder of MAGIC ARTIST DESIGN, comes from Saxony-Anhalt. After training as an advertising template maker, he decided to be his own boss and founded his own company. Since then, he has been photographing and editing images of flora & fauna, landscapes, architecture and still lifes. He mainly shoots with the Nikon D850 and various Nikkor lenses, including the Nikkor 24-120 mm and the Nikkor 10-24 mm. Steffen also uses filters such as the ND8 gray filter, which he likes to use for water photography. To edit his photos and give them a personal touch, he uses image editing programs such as Lightroom. Emotions and moods are reflected in his pictures, which he underlines through color and composition. Since 2022, he has also been painting abstract shapes and patterns with alcohol-based ink on art paper.
