About The Artist

“Image logic is more important than object logic”
Annina Fründ (née kARsT) was born and grew up in Stuttgart. After graduating from high school in 2010 with a major in art under Ulrich Zeh, Annina studied art under Prof. Dr. Monika Miller, Prof. Dr. Hubert Sofa and Dr. Thomas Bickelhaupt at the University of Education in Ludwigsburg.
Since 2015, Annina kARsT has been working as a freelance artist alongside her job as a teacher. Painting has been her great passion for years and is part of her daily work. She loves working with colors, shapes, bodies and faces.
Inspired by her everyday life, encounters and thoughts, she creates expressive, colorful and emotionally charged works. For the majority of her paintings, she uses acrylic and gouache paint, as well as acrylic spray. Her watercolors are also a constant companion.

ABOUT kARsT-Malerei

„Bildlogik ist wichtiger als Gegenstandslogik“
Annina Fründ (geb. kARsT) ist in Stuttgart geboren und dort aufgewachsen. Nach dem Abitur 2010 mit dem Hauptfach Kunst bei Ulrich Zeh hat Annina Kunst bei Prof. Dr. Monika Miller, Prof. Dr. Hubert Sofa und Dr. Thomas Bickelhaupt an der Pädagogischen Hochschule in Ludwigsburg studiert.
Seit 2015 arbeitet Annina kARsT neben ihrem Beruf als Lehrerin auch als freischaffende Künstlerin. Die Malerei ist bereits seit Jahren ihre große Leidenschaft und begleitet sie täglich. Sie liebt den Umgang mit Farben, Formen, Körpern und Gesichtern.
Inspiriert durch ihren Alltag, Begegnungen und Gedanken entstehen ausdrucksstarke, farbenfrohe und emotionsgeladene Werke. Für den Großteil ihrer Gemälde nutzt sie Acryl- und Gouachefarbe, sowie Acrylspray. Auch ihre Aquarellfarben sind ein stetiger Begleiter.
